The right shoes for your feet

We usually go for a foot massage when our feet feel stiff, sore or swollen.

During the massage, we may feel pain in different parts of the feet because of the accumulation of body waste substances such as uric acid and lactic acid.

Wearing customised shoes from TLM helps to stimulate pressure on the accumulated waste, gradually softens it and enables it to be excreted through the blood, lymph, urine and stool.

The stimulating pressure comes from a person’s own body weight. For example, a person weighing 50kg will have a pressure equivalent to that of 75kg on the feet when walking, and 150 kg when running. This helps soften and eliminate the body waste to keep the feet and legs healthy.

If the body waste is not eliminated in time, it accumulates under the skin and between the muscle tissues, compressing the nerves and causing acute inflammation.

In the long run, it can turn into chronic pain, causing the body to lose balance and the joints in the feet and body to shift from their original positions.

In such cases, TLM orthotists need to use orthotic insole and orthotic shoes to treat the condition, and this will increase the cost and time of treatment.

If you have pain in your feet or other parts of the body and it has not been alleviated within two weeks, you should seek help from an orthotist as soon as possible.
